Federal Bureau of Unsolved Homicide proudly represents
our own Database Management Program: L.O.G.I.C.
Computer technology is the backbone of modern investigation.
The <L.O.G.I.C.> Database is one of the many continuing efforts to digitize our workflow and preserve evidence in a manner that will allow you to work more efficiently.
In the coming years, the computer will continue to be ‘the most valuable item' in our crime-fighting toolkit. And the L.O.G.I.C database, which contains 30-year-footage transferred from the existing Homicide & Serious Crime tap archive, is crucial in our investigations. It automatically sorts out video data using our ASR(Automatic Speech Recognition) technology. Each statement by potential criminals is stored and can be tagged for submission to the court. The audio has been digitally stenographed and the content of the testimony is attached to each video clip.
