White House Reveals Plans to Establish New Investigative Agency

The inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States took place on January 20, 2021, marking the start of the four-year term of Joe Biden as president. The 59th presidential inauguration took place on the West Front of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.

The following is a transcription of some of the speeches:

Democracy is fragile. And at this hour, my friends, democracy has prevailed.

So now, on this hallowed ground where just days ago violence sought to shake this Capitol’s very foundation, we come together as one nation, under God, indivisible, to carry out the peaceful transfer of power as we have for more than two centuries.

Over the centuries through storm and strife, in peace and in war, we have come so far. But we still have far to go. We will press forward with speed and urgency, for we have much to do in this winter of peril and possibility.

Much to repair.

Much to restore.

Much to heal.

Much to build.

And much to gain.

It requires that most elusive of things in a democracy:

Unity. Unity.

I ask every American to join me in this cause. Uniting to fight the common foes we face:

Anger, resentment, hatred.

Extremism, lawlessness, violence.

Disease, joblessness, hopelessness.

With unity we can do great things. Important things.

I know speaking of unity can sound to some like a foolish fantasy. I know the forces that divide us are deep and they are real. But I also know they are not new.

And here we stand, just days after a riotous mob thought they could use violence to silence the will of the people, to stop the work of our democracy, and to drive us from this sacred ground.

What are the common objects we love that define us as Americans? I think I know.

Opportunity. Security. Liberty. Dignity. Respect. Honor.

And, yes, the truth.

The inauguration took place amidst extraordinary political, public health, economic, and national security crises, including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic; former President Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 United States presidential election, which incited a storming of the Capitol; and a threat of widespread civil unrest, which stimulated a nationwide law enforcement response.

What Biden emphasized most in his inaugural speech yesterday was unity. And declared a fundamental commitment to resolve acts of violence that have led to a serious crisis in national security. Unusually, just the day after his speech, White House press secretary Jennifer Psaki announced plans to establish a new investigation agency at a news conference.

Asked by the Chicago Tribune reporter about the overlapping work with the existing FBI, she said the direction of the investigation would be completely different, and that she would disclose details if the bill was passed after sufficiently discussing it with Congress. She answered, "If only the investigation into current and future crimes has been carried out so far, it is time to solve the past crimes that have been missed." While citizens are boisterous over the controversy over the abolition of the statute of limitations and the principle of double jeopardy, interesting responses such as whether they are reinvestigating unsolved cases are also drawing attention.

The Mysterious Kidnapping of 8- year-old girl in Michigan

By Bronze zero

February, 23 2021 Updated 11:42 p.m.

An 8-year-old girl, Haley, was kidnapped from Wal-Mart on Route 22, Michigan in 2001. When the girl's parents were away for a while to buy groceries, the girl disappeared. And the missing girl hasn't returned in 20 years yet.

The only witness to the crime at the time, parking manager A of Wal-Mart, said he saw a man wearing a black cap holding the hand of the girl who was alone. He called the police out of suspicion because the man did not look like the child's parents, but within minutes the suspicious man disappeared.

If this was a simple kidnapping, the criminal would have approached for money or something. However, after the girl went missing, the parents did not receive any communication. It's kidnapping for no reason at all.

At the time, most media speculated that the kidnapping was for sex crimes or organ trafficking. The police also concluded that it was a kidnapping aimed at sex crimes or long-term trading based on the fact that the criminal did not want anything to pay and did not even contact him.

The investigation did not go easy. The vehicle black box was not activated as it is now, and CCTVs were not installed on the outskirts of Route 22. The investigation was conducted solely by eyewitness accounts, and as a result, the case ended unsolved without finding any clues.

However, two months ago, a phone call provided clues to the case. A woman claimed she was Haley, who was kidnapped 20 years ago. However, the police decided not to re-investigate the case because the process of re-investigating the case is difficult and there is not enough manpower.

However, Unsolved Case Investigation Office(temporary name) has already announced its position to reinvestigate the case, giving hope to the families of the victims. The investigation will begin about a month later, and Michigan citizens have pledged to work together to resolve Haley's abduction.

Every year in the United States, kidnapping or sex crimes against infants and adolescents are increasing. I hope that Unsolved Case Investigation Office(temporary name) will terrorize the criminal community in the United States as it solves this case decades later.

There was a terrible murder in Scotland, England. The victim of this case, Simon Smith died of a stab wound to the neck, bleeding too much in June 1994. He worked in a glass factory name of the Ernst Brothers Glass, and his relationships were not particularly negative.

The most suspicious suspect was his wife, Hannah Smith, who was extraordinarily calm despite her husband’s death.

At that time, the detective had a suspicion based on her suspicious testimony and her quarrel with Simon on the day of the murder. But there was no absolute clue as a suspect because her alibi was accurate.

After several more investigations have been conducted, but no allegations have been found, leaving the murder unsolved.

However, Simon’s mother and family have been pleading for years with the newly established U.S(unsolved) case department to find out why he was killed and who was responsible to the murder.

Currently, there are many other unsolved cases, including this murder. In

the increasingly sophisticated reality of violent crimes, we need to have attention to many of unsolved cases like Simon’s unjust deaths.

March 17, 2021 Updated 08:16 a.m.

Three years ago, there was a serial murder in Texas that ended in an unsolved homicide. Thirteen women were killed in Texas in the same way in the eight years since 1995.

All of the victims had X-shaped stab wounds to their wrists and the cause of death was excessive bleeding from a fractured skull. In addition, the criminal sought who had no family members and committed murder.

Texas police, who were in charge of the investigation at the time, found a pink towel that the criminal always left at the scene, and said the criminal had the characteristics of a psychopath. And the Police said there were difficulties in the investigation because there were no traces or fingerprints of the criminal at the crime scene.

Texas citizens hoped the culprit would be arrested as soon as possible. However, 18 years later, the culprit has not been caught yet.

The suspect at that time were Pedro (assumed name), who was sentenced to four years in prison for special assault, and Margot (assumed name, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for rape and attempted murder. They were eventually removed from the investigation due to insufficient evidence.

There are no more murders like this in Texas, but the criminal could kill again at any time. The reinvestigation and Cooperation in the FBUH are needed to stop the next murder.

FBUH Started to Investigate Simon's Death of 27 Years Ago

By Dabeen Kim

April 12, 2021 Updated 12:32 a.m.

According to news on the FBUH official website, a team was formed to reexamine Simon ‘s death 27 years ago. FBUH is the newly established international investigation team. These are special teams that do not specialize in murder cases that have been a hot issue, but solve unfair murders that have been forgotten by people.

The investigator who has code name of ‘All Empty’ will trace two suspicious clues after carefully examining the investigation records of Simon’s death 27 years ago.

He was absolutely convinced that the suspect, Hannah ‘s testimony was unbelievable, especially when he saw changes in her psychology during the questioning and joking with investigators despite death of husband.

FBUH asked the investigator in charge of the case 27 years ago to cooperate and said the investigation would be reconducted based on the alleged alibi, her relationships, and finally on the possibility of twins.
